A manufacturer of quality homeware products are seeking a capable Web Development Manager to join their business.

You will take full accountability for their website, order and warehouse management systems, supported with a Systems Administrator in the UK and a remotely based development team. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that the business operates at the forefront of the UK homeware sector in an efficient and effective manner.

Key responsibilities will include assisting and reviewing development of project scopes, considering resources, and technological constraints including cost estimates with consideration to business impacts and identified risks.

You'll also be:

  • Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements.
  • Defining project scope and giving clear instructions to design and development team.
  • Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and within budget
  • Developing and maintaining ecommerce websites and ensure the integration with other sales channels are maintained

We are looking for:

  • Comprehensive Magento development experience is essential.
  • Excellent proficiency in responsive design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and databases etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of data structures and validation systems.
  • First-rate understanding of ecommerce best practices.
  • You must be able demonstrate your experience of leading a small team within an ecommerce environment, ideally within a direct to consumer product orientated business.
