ORDER/PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

 

Our long established client who primarily provides furniture solutions for universities, student accommodation providers and large multi-site organisations across the UK located in Birchwood, Warrington with easy access to the North West’s motorway network (M62, M6, M60 and M56).is looking to increase their Operations team and are seeking applications from candidates who have previous experience within Sales Admin, Project Admin and/or Order Processing roles.

The ideal candidate will take responsibility and proactively drive the entire order process, on orders which can vary from single items to large projects, ensuring all elements of the order process are complete before being passed through to the Planning & Logistics team.

Key skills and Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent level of service to customers to ensure they are fully aware of their order details, possible lead times and reasons for any delays they may encounter with their order;
  • Co-ordinating delivery/installation dates with suppliers and customers;
  • Deal quickly and efficiently with customer queries or complaints, ensuring a professional approach and a high level of customer services is always provided;
  • Ensure you have developed a thorough understanding of our products and services;
  • Building excellent customer relationships to ensure you become aware of their order cycle and any unique customer requirements;
  • Provide support to Project Managers and the wider Operations team;
  • Liaising with members of the Sales Team on the telephone and face to face;
  • Actively contribute to the generation of new ideas to enhance the services to customers including administration and system functionality through team working and effective communication;

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Admin, Project Admin and/or Order Processing role
  • Hands on experience with CRM, Order Processing software and MS Office
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Accuracy with excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Clear communicator both written and verbal
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Calm, confident and efficient manner
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Flexible approach to work - especially during the busy summer period
  • A full clean driving licence
