Winter is coming! Which means the dark days are coming and our clocks are changing. On the 29th October at 2AM our clocks will go back an hour. This year it will fall on a Sunday, which means a lazy Sunday for everyone because of the extra hour in bed.
The extra hour will give us more light in the morning to help get us through those dark winter days that are around the corner.
Why do we have day lights savings?
Daylight savings was first introduced during the First World War to try and improve the economy by giving farmers an extra hour of sunlight to work during the winter. The clocks change twice a year. Once in spring and once in autumn. An easy way to remember this is by the American saying,“spring forward and fall back.”
So use that extra hour wisely! Get onto Connections Recruitment website and apply for some jobs.
